Too much time spent in the sympathetic nervous system's "fight or flight" mode leads to stress, fatigue, risk of chronic diseases and systemic inflammation. 

I use Swedish and deep tissue strokes, myofascial release, stretching, and lymphatic drainage techniques to induce your nervous system's parasympathetic (aka "rest and digest") response. I use a customized, holistic approach to designing my sessions, listening to what your body needs. I am prenatal certified and welcome expectant mothers to my practice. 

About Me

Stephanie Allred Curran, Licensed Massage Therapist has been in practice for five years. She received her Associate's of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2018, which included over 900 contact hours. The LMT licensure included advanced training in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. She graduated with an Integrative Healthcare Specialty certificate from NCBTMB which included an internship program in prenatal massage, hospice massage, and oncology (cancer) massage. She is certified in Lymphatic Drainage Technique Level 1 and Craniosacral Therapy Level 1. 

In addition to her private practice in Mt. Washington, Stephanie offers chair massage to patients in the office of Dr. Kenneth Greene at GBMC (Greater Baltimore Medical Center).

New client appointments automatically have 30 minutes added to their time so that the intake process does not interfere with your hands-on time.
